Cookies and browser storage
Effective October 12, 2026
Ultrasearch uses sign-in cookies and a small amount of browser storage for product preferences and pending actions.
Sign-in cookies
When you sign in, the website sets an HttpOnly, same-site session cookie so the account remains signed in. It expires after 14 days or when you sign out. Google sign-in also uses a temporary, HttpOnly state cookie that expires after 10 minutes or when sign-in finishes. Browser scripts cannot read these cookies.
Restricted admin cookie
The restricted admin area uses a separate HttpOnly, same-site cookie with an eight-hour lifetime. It is used only for admin access.
Browser storage
The site keeps your light/dark theme preference in local storage and, while you are signed in, in your account profile so the desktop app can use the same choice. It uses session storage for temporary interface state and pending billing or service requests; session storage is scoped to the browser tab/session and can be cleared in your browser.
Advertising and analytics
The current site code does not add advertising cookies, cross-site advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. Your web host may process request and diagnostic metadata as described in its own privacy notice.
Your controls
You can sign out to clear the account session cookie. You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset your theme and temporary interface state.
