Search connected apps from Windows
Connect supported work and cloud accounts, then search their results in the same Windows search bar as local files and images.
Sign in to the web dashboard and open Connectors. Connect an account that is offered there, then open Ultrasearch on Windows and press Win + Alt to search. Available providers can depend on configured access.
What each connection can search
GitHub
Repositories and code, issues, and pull requests. Private repositories require the matching GitHub permission. You can choose which repository and result categories to search.
Google Drive
File names and metadata. Ultrasearch does not search the full text of Drive files.
Gmail
Message subjects and permitted snippets. Search preferences let you limit which message details are included.
Google Calendar
Event titles and descriptions from your primary calendar.
Notion
Titles of pages and databases shared with the Ultrasearch integration.
Linear
Issues, with descriptions available as an optional search category.
Slack
Messages visible to your Slack user account.
Discord
Your profile and joined servers. This connection does not provide general Discord message search.
Dropbox
File and folder names and metadata in the Dropbox account you connect. Read-only metadata access does not let Ultrasearch edit or delete your files.
Todoist
Tasks and projects visible to your connected Todoist account. Approved write permissions support confirmed Agent actions.
GitLab
Projects and issues you can access on GitLab.com.
Find work without remembering which app has it
Try “zenith repo” for a repository, “launch checklist” for a Drive file or task, or an exact subject from an email. Local and connected matches appear together. A connector only returns items your own account can access; it does not unlock another person's private repositories, mail, or documents.
For a question such as “What changed in the launch plan?”, use Agent search and review the original sources before relying on the answer.
Narrow a search to a source
Start with a provider name
Begin with a provider name and a search term, such as
github rolloutorGoogle Drive quarterly plan, to direct a search to that connection.Choose GitHub search categories
GitHub search preferences let you choose supported repository and result categories, including private repositories, issues, and pull requests. Private results require that your GitHub connection has permission to those repositories.
Respect account access
Ultrasearch can search only what the connected account and its granted permissions expose. A provider outage, expired sign-in, or disabled search category can reduce results; reconnect or adjust the connector’s Search preferences if needed.
Find your GitHub repository from Windows
Connect the right account
Authorize GitHub from Connectors using the account that owns or can access the repository. Enable private repositories if the project is private and your connection has access.
Search by ownership and name
Try
my github zenith reposfor a repository named Zenith. To browse owned repositories, trymy github repos.Check the source and open
Look for the GitHub result and confirm its repository name, then select it and press Enter. If it is missing, check the connected account and repository search preferences before broadening the query.
There are more query examples and date filters in the search reference.
What happens to connected data?
Connected search uses the permissions you grant to retrieve matching provider results. Ultrasearch may keep bounded, encrypted account-specific search data on your PC to make later searches faster; disconnecting a provider invalidates its search catalog on the next account refresh. Disconnecting does not delete information from the provider.
Review the privacy policy for the full data flow and the acceptable use policy before connecting accounts you manage for work.
For local indexing and image search, read the Windows file search guide. To ask a question across relevant sources, see how Agent works.
